We will celebrate Candlemas on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00pm at St. John’s. Bring any candles you want blessed for use in your home during the year. We will provide everyone with a candle for the procession around the Church, which will also be lit at the Gospel and during the Eucharistic prayer and Communion. Following Candlemas, all are welcome for a party in the rectory to celebrate the feast day. I’ll have some snacks and beverages, you’re welcome to bring anything else to share.

All faith formation families are welcome to dinner in St. John's hall before 6pm classes.

Students in K-6 grade have Faith Formation classes every Monday from 6:00-7:00pm at St. John’s school. We have Mass at 5:00pm, followed by potluck at 5:30pm for all faith formation families to enjoy. Parents and younger kids are welcome to stay and visit while K-6 students are in classes. We’ll also have faith formation activities for Pre-K students led by some moms beginning September 26th.

Every other Tuesday staring May 31st we'll meet in the courtyard at St. John's from 6:30pm-8:30pm for a young adult bonfire with snacks and beverages and discussion of some Saints who embodied Catholic Social Teaching. We’re also looking forward to our Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras party on Tuesday, February 21st starting at 5:30pm at St. Joseph parish hall. It’s a potluck, and we’ll provide some pasta and meatballs. We’ll also have board and card games for all ages, and have a movie on for kids. Come celebrate the feast before our Lenten fast begins!
